Susan Wyatt is a Wongai woman born in the Goldfields town of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. From the age of ten, Susan sketched and painted family portraits and today continues her visual documentary of Aboriginal life through portraits of Aboriginal people from Kalgoorlie and surrounding desert areas. As a freelance commercial artist, she is frequently commissioned for murals, posters and cartoons.
