Patricia Konisberg is a non-Indigenous collaborator. 

She was born in West Germany and holds a degree in General Linguistics, French Literature and a Diploma of Education. Patricia speaks five languages and has been teaching in Western Australia since the 1980s. In 1988, she moved to the Pilbara to continue her private research into Aboriginal languages and work at Pundulmurra College. Patricia now lives in Perth and works for the Department of Education Western Australia.
