Jason Foster was born in Sydney in 1976. He grew up in the Blue Mountains and is a History/English teacher with a Masters in History. He is currently studying a Diploma in Languages in Spanish and teaches at a high school in Western Sydney.

Jason is non-Indigenous collaborator for the book Waiting at the Gate.
