Christopher Fry is the author of Nardika Learns to Make a Spear. This book is no longer in print.

Christopher lived in Maningrida on the coast of central Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. His tribal group was Burarra. He painted since he was a young child and experimented with carving dugong and turtle bones incorporating contemporary and traditional designs. As a spiritual Elder of his community and church, Chris was committed to social issues and working with young people to strengthen their cultural knowledge.
