AIC Grant Announced for 2024

Magabala Books is thrilled to announce the next grant round with Australian Indigenous Coffee (AIC) to offer 2x Creative Grants worth $10,000 each. These grants are to encourage storytellers, writers, illustrators and artists to work on a current manuscript or illustration portfolio. This grant is open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander storytellers and writers working in any genre and illustrators working in any medium. 

Australian Indigenous Coffee (AIC) is the leading Aboriginal Coffee company in Australia with their blends inspired by country. They cater to all your coffee needs, whether you are in a corporate office, remote mining or a café. 

AIC supports community and local businesses. Their Coffee to Art program supports Aboriginal artists through the Budadee Foundation.    

Magabala Books is grateful for the support from AIC, philanthropic funding ensures the diversity of our publishing programs, the Creative Development Scholarships and the Magabala Fellowship. This allows us to expand our resources to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander writers and artists at all stagers of their career.
