Quinlan Jaffrey is a Gooniyandi and Palyku man from the Kimberely and Pilbara regions of North West Australia. Quinlan is new to the publishing industry and is a true story teller, passionate about preserving First Nations stories, language and culture.

Goorramindi the Crocodile honours the memory of Quinlan’s Jaja (Grandfather) Isaac Cherel known to many as Goorramindi. Gooramindi was a well-respected man within his community. He was a guardian & protector to his people. A powerful man in lore and culture. Gooramindi was a key elder of the Gooniyandi language group and was instrumental in the preseravtion of Lore and culture at Muludja Community.
